"Moonshine" Tickets Still Available from Tennessee Society

Bay State Harvest Baked Bean Supper on Oct. 6th

will hostMassoutline_map1 our Harvest Baked Bean Supper on Saturday, Oct. 6 from 6 to 9 PM.  The event will be held in the party room on The Terrace Level of the Barkley Condominium at 1016 S. Wayne Street in Arlington. There is some guest parking, car pooling is encouraged, please register your car at the front desk. CLICK HERE to see map. 

Hornofplenty Tickets are $15 per person and $5 for children for a menu that includes hot dogs, baked beans, corn relish, brown bread, hot apple pie, wine, beer, and coffee.  Please make your check payable to Massachusetts Society and mail it not later than Sept. 30 to Ruth L. NCSS Board Meeting is Thursday, Sept. 13

Usa_flag Reminder: There is an NCSS Board meeting on Thursday night, Sept. 13 in the Hall of States in Room 383.  The time is 6:30 PM. The Hall of States is located at 444 N. Capitol Street on the Senate side of Capitol Hill about one block south-west of Union Station.  There is on-street parking and a Metro stop at Union Station nearby.

Gavel_3 It should be a short meeting.  The monthly meeting dates for the NCSS governing board this fall are on the second Thursday of each month including Sept. 13, Oct. 11, Nov. 8, and Dec. 13.  Next year the meetings are Jan. 10, Feb. 14, March 13, April 17, and the annual meeting and election of officers on May 8, 2008. Please also remember that state society dues of $50 per year was due in June.

If your state society has not yet paid dues for the 2007-2008 fiscal year, please mail your check payable to "NCSS" in the amount of $50 to: Brad Mantel, Treasurer, National Conference of State Societies, 237 Hall of States, 444 North Capitol Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001.

Current paid dues will enable your state society to participate in the 2008 Cherry Blossom Princess Program.
