Your State Society Can Raise Money by helping NCSS

2007programscanned02_2 If your state society can help NCSS sell ads in the April cherry blossom princess souvenir program, your treasury can keep half of the revenue.  You can help by contacting the state department of tourism in your state to ask them to buy a full page color ad for $1,200 in the 60th Anniversary Cherry Blossom Princess Program Book.  We will send you the specifications for the ad which are needed back with a check or insertion order not later than March 21, 2008.  NCSS will split half of the revenue with your state society as your commission on the sale of a department of tourism ad or any other ad generated by your state society.  For details please send an email to Mark.Rhoads@statesocieties.com.  We can provide you with sample program books from recent years to show your donors or advertisers.

Merry Christmas from the State Societies of Washington, DC

1999tree Merry Christmas from the National Conference of State Societies and a Happy New Year.

We thank all the state societies of Washington, DC for a successful year in 2007.

The Central Association of the States was first listed with officers in the Congressional Directory of 1871.  The association became the National Council of State Societies in 1913 and also had other names in the 20th Century until it was chartered by Congress in April 1952 as the modern conference of State Societies.

Our very special thanks from NCSS to the members of the Illinois State Society, the California State Society, and the Texas State Society for their special and generous support to NCSS in recent months.  We look forward to celebrating the 138th Anniversary year of NCSS and the 60th Anniversary year of the NCSS Cherry Blossom Princess Program from April 6-12, 2008.
