Thank you very much to the 22 state societies who helped the White House Commission on Remembrance at the west front of the Capitol on Sept.26. The state societies that came out to help included District of Columbia, Hawaii, Arizona, California, Virginia, Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Montana, Indiana, Illinois, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, Alabama, Nebraska, Kansas, New York, New Jersey, and Texas.
The Gold Star Families from those states said they appreciated the welcome to DC from their state socities.
