Stefan Bailey, a director of the Indiana State Society of Washington, DC shown at left, and Congressman Baron P. Hill (D-IN) present a wreath at the Lincoln Memorial on Feb. 12 to honor the Great Emancipator on his 200th Birthday. Rep. Hill's district in southern Indiana includes Lincoln's boyhood home at Lincoln City. About 2,000 people, members of Congress, two cabinet secretaries, and news media attended the ceremony. Wreaths were also presented by Brandon Kirkham, president of the Kentucky Society, and by Congressman John Shimkus (R-IL), president of the Illinois State Society of Washington, DC.
