The Michigan State Society of Washington, DC in cooperaiton with the Michigan Delegation to Congress will host the "Michigan Inaugural Dinner Dance 2009" from 7:30 pm to 12 am on Tuesday night, Jan. 20 at the National Museum of American History in the Kenneth E. Behring Center at 14th Street and Constitution Avenue, NW. Tickets are $200 each and sponsorships are available. Guests will be among the first people to see the new display of the original "Star Spangled Banner" that flew over Fort McHenry in Baltimore Harbor on the night that Francis Scott Key was inspired to write the poem that became our National Anthem.
