Love North Carolina Membership Drive Opens Feb. 21

Northcarolinaheart The North Carolina State Society of Washington, DC will invite North Carolinians and prospective members to join with current members for a party on Thursday, Feb. 21 at The Top of the Hill, 319 Pennsylvania Avenue, SE from 7 pm to 9 pm.  CLICK HERE to see map. The 2008 individual membership fee is $25.  If your membership is paid by Friday, March 28, you may reserve in your name the right to purchase two tickets for the 2009 North Carolina State Society Inaugural event.

There are special discounts to events all year if you are a North Carolina State Society member.  Updoming events include ACC Annual Tournament, the annual BBQ, and happy hours. North Carolina State Society

The president of the North Carolina State Society of Washington, DC is Ian Rose.North_carolina  who can be reached by email at ian@ianrose.us. The other officers are listed below.

Organized in 1896, the North Carolina State Society is one of the oldest state societies in our nation's capital. The object of this society is to bring together in its membership men and women from the State of North Carolina; to foster acquaintance and friendship among its members through social entertainment; to stimulate and strenghten patriotism, price of citizenship and loyalty to the Nation and to the State of North Carolina, its traditions and institutions.  The Society shall be non-political and non-sectarian. No partisan political affairs shall be discussed at any meeting of the Society.
