The North Dakota State Society
will host a reception for Vanessa Anderson, the 2009 North Dakota Cherry Blossom Princess, on Tuesday, March 31 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm in Senate Dirksen Room 608. In addition to Vanessa, special guests of honor will include Sen. Kent Conrad, Sen. Byron Dorgan, and Congressman Earl Pomery. Vanessa is the daughter of Todd and Joanne Anderson. She is from Jamestown, North Dakota and graduated summa cum laude from Minot State University in 2008. She was the first student representative on the Board of Directors for the Minot Chamber of Commerce. Vanessa is currently working as an intern in Sen.
